I've been featuring German culture pretty prominently on this blog so far, ergo it seems only right to do an official Germany Week, right? Right! We'll start off bland with nothing more then a tree. Ooo, pretty tree!

Pewter Statues Week - Day Six
I actually did take a photo of this before but decided against posting it since I was unhappy with how it turned out. I've now taken another photo of it (this one) and I'm STILL unhappy with how it turned out. I'm less unhappy though. So maybe, Maybe, with some tweaking and cropping I'll be happier with it. But until then this is going up in its current form. I hope you enjoy it anyweather!

Pewter Statues Week - Day Five
I was really hoping to save this one this week for Photo Phriday but I ran into the unfortunate scenario of not having enough Pewter Statue photos this week to make it to Friday (so guess what I'll be doing tomorrow?). So, yeah, this is up a bit early *technically* but I still like how it came out.
There's also an important lesson I could teach you about of depth of field, the aperture on your camera, and framing when you compare this to photo to Day Three too.. but suffice to say the photos themselves, I think, illustrate the importance of choosing your composition and aperture well enough. Not to mention they demonstrate just how many different photos you can take of a single subject.. As if I didn't already illustrate that with the Saskatchewan Legislature..
Ah well, we'll see you again tomorrow!

Pewter Statues Week - Day Two
I've actually been meaning to sit down and take these photos for a while. The problem was, despite being in my home, finding the time and energy to take 'em was just a bit much after juggling every other minutiae and detail of life. Still, I couldn't procrastinate forever, so here I am and here they are! I think Pewter statues are awesome! ... Yeah! 'Cause you haven't guessed that already!
